Official Match Program

SAFETY:

Safety is the number one concern of all      match officials, adult leaders and competitors.  Proper safety procedures will be followed and enforced at all times.  During competition, infractions will be noted and one warning will be issued to the shooter and his or her coach.  A second infraction will result in the disqualification of the shooter. NO “SHOOTING CAMPS” WILL BE ALLOWED INSIDE        THE RANGE. While spectators are allowed in the range during competition, chairs and groups must be set up outside of the range. Spectators will only be able to sit in the bleachers and chairs already set up by match staff.

ELIGIBILITY:

Entry in the tournament is limited to youth who:

·        Have completed the Daisy/U.S. Jaycee Shooting Education Program or an equivalent course of instruction.

·        Are sponsored by a recognized youth organization such as Jaycees, 4-H, Boy Scouts, Royal Rangers or other similar organization with responsible adult leadership.

·        Are within the age limits: Participants must be at least 8 years of age and may compete through December 31st of the year in which their 15th birthday occurs.

·        Are regular or alternate members of a team that qualified through a State Championship match.

·        Are not individuals who have competed in the IBBGCM the previous year. Individuals who fire as regular members of a team competing in the IBBGCM are precluded from firing as a regular team member at the State and/or IBBGCM the following year.  This rule assures that new shooters will get a chance to compete.

·        Each team registration packet contains a medical and liability form for each team member. This form must be signed by the competitor’s parent of guardian and returned with the other registration forms before the competitor will be permitted to participate in the Match.
